Proud of our Privacy and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification

Information security is more important than ever, and we are fully aware of that. Clients and partners need to be able to trust that they are collaborating with an organisation where information security is held in high regard. That's why we make every effort every day to ensure this is perfectly in place.

Standards

ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security management. This standard safeguards the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. We have implemented the standards from ISO 27001 in a way that suits us.

Certification

Since 4th February 2019, we have been officially certified to NEN ISO/IEC 27001:2013. The certification achieved demonstrates that we have all our processes in the field of information security well-organised. The validity of our ISO certification is reviewed annually by an external party.

Control

The implemented Information Security Management System (ISMS) ensures that we are in control and oversee the processes in terms of information security. Our Security Officer oversees the ISMS.

Technology

When developing solutions, we utilise the latest techniques and adhere to both internal and external best practices. This ensures the quality and stability of the software. Our Scrum teams are informed of the latest techniques and implement them wherever feasible. The software and platforms are periodically tested for performance and security.

Security

By using the latest IT technologies, we aim to achieve the highest possible level of security, ensuring the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information within Kega.

Privacy

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been in effect since 25th May 2018. At Kega, we've given this a lot of attention. Our colleagues are well-informed on how to handle personal data.

Awareness

Creating privacy awareness among our colleagues is seen as a crucial focus. We do this, for example, by providing an introduction to information security and privacy to new colleagues and giving quarterly updates on these topics to all our colleagues.

Because ultimately, our colleagues are the 'ambassadors' of our security and privacy policies.

We will continue to evolve in the field of information security and privacy and will maintain dialogue with our colleagues, clients, partners, and suppliers to elevate our information security standards even higher.

If you have a question related to information security or privacy, please get in touch with our Security Officer, Laure Kuijpers, at securityofficer@kega.nl.
