Webshop for stylish Belgian brand Ginger Collections

ABOUT GINGER

Ginger stands for 'slow fashion': timelessly fashionable clothing with an emphasis on quality and durability. Kega was responsible for realising the technical side of the webshop. The result is a perfect balance between branding and conversion.

For Ginger it all comes down to creating unique, wearable fashion. True collectables, made to complement your own personal style. To underline this, every clothing item comes with its own unique number.

THE ASSIGNMENT

Realise an omnichannel e-commerce platform for all FNG fashion labels, of which the Ginger brand is part.

THE APPROACH / SOLUTION

Kega developed the webshop for the Belgian brand and custom-designed the front end. All pages of the online store have been designed with great attention to detail. The mood boards simulating the physical store appeal formed the foundation for the online store design, a little ‘rough around the edges’ and using large images. The photography gives you a feeling of almost touching the textiles. 

The back end is aimed at complete integration with SAP and other fashion labels of FNG. What this means is that:

  • Store and webshop inventory is much more transparent 

  • Store management of different labels can be centralised

  • Development of the platform is available for all labels

  • Immediately noticeable online revenue increase for Ginger Collections

  • Additional roll-out of other FNG fashion labels: CKS, FRED, FRIDAY, Fred & Ginger

  • Responsive e-commerce shop

  • Integration of Click & Collect and Lost Sales

  • Check out the results of the Ginger Collections online store
