Euro Shoe Group is a leading and expansive retail group which is active in the distribution of shoes, textiles and related products. ESG is best known among the general public by its chain brand names Avance, Shoe Discount and Bristol. It is for these three chains that the new Keephub portal (or Intranet) was introduced.

THE ASSIGNMENT

Realise an internal communication platform for all formulas of the Euro Shoe Group (Avance, Shoe Discount and Bristol) that ensures smooth and efficient interaction between the head office and the stores. The aim is to empower the store staff.

THE APPROACH

The initial step was to first build the Keephub portal for one chain (Bristol). Once tried and tested, this portal was then customised and launched for the Avance and Shoe Discount chains.

THE SOLUTION

The choice was made to establish a multi-site and multi-lingual portal (intranet) with an extensive rights structure, enabling each store staff member to view relevant content in the correct language.

The InTouch portal is consulted through the in-store POS (cashier) system.

HET RESULT

Staff members in the store receive relevant content faster and quicker. In other words, the staff is empowered
The information flow to and from the head office is much more efficient
The head office has insight into the daily operations on the shop floor
