Game Mania Keephub Portal

With 86 retail outlets, Game Mania is the leading gaming specialist retailer with the biggest choice in games, game consoles and accessories in the Benelux. The first shop opened in Merksem (Antwerp, Belgium) in 1992, and today Game Mania is the biggest video game chain in the Benelux. Game Mania operates independently from its head office in Oelegem, near Antwerp in Belgium.

THE ASSIGNMENT
Develop an internal communication platform (intranet) to ensure smooth and efficient communication between the head office and the retail shops. The goal was also to empower the shop staff. A platform for the Netherlands and Belgium.

THE SOLUTION
Game Mania has chosen to use the Keephub Portal as their main communication tool with all the retail shops. Until recently, e-mail was Game Mania's primary communication method to share information with the retail outlets. The implementation of the Keephub Portal ensures the information flows are clearer, more efficient and easier to control.

THE SOLUTION
A choice was made for a multi-site portal (intranet) with an extensive rights structure, so that every employee in the shop sees relevant content. The InTouch portal can be consulted through the POS (register) in the shop.

THE RESULT
Employees working in the stores are informed faster and better by means of relevant content. In other words, this new communication tool empowers the store staff. The information flow to and from the head office is an efficient process, giving the head office a better insight into the daily operation on the shop floor.
