Didi customer days big success

From Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th June 2017, the two-yearly Didi Customer Days (Didi Klantendagen) took place. An important moment to kick off the sale.

Pre-sale for VIP-customers

Didi’s regular customers, in other words their VIP customers, could take advantage of an exclusive pre-sale. From the 12th until the 14th of June, VIP customers were given the chance to shop with the same great discount from 11:30 in the morning. Each VIP customer received a unique code that gave exclusive access to the online shop.

 

Communication – Bannering

Every day of the sale, a special countdown banner in the web shop counted down the minutes until 4 p.m., when the sale started. This built up the excitement among customers and let them know exactly when to get shopping. The VIP customers could use their unique code to bypass the countdown banner and gain exclusive access to the web shop.

Besides the online shop, the countdown banner was also used in the endless aisle solution, i.e. the instore kiosks, in the shops themselves.

Result | Significant more tunover 

Compared to the Customer Days 2016, this year’s Customer Days generated significant more turnover. Besides additional revenue, it also brought about two-thirds more transactions and a higher conversion rate. In other words, more people actually bought something. In conclusion, we can safely say that the Didi Customer Days campaign has been a great success!
