Integration Architect

About the position

The Integration Architect plays a crucial role as a bridge between sales and the implementation team. You support sales in translating the (customer) requirements into technical elaboration. At the same time, you ensure that the solutions sold are both feasible and in line with the capabilities of the team and other parties involved. As the technical conscience within the team, you guarantee a solid basis for software solutions that can be extended and maintained in the long term.

As an Integration Architect, you play an advisory role for various organisations regarding both new and existing integration technologies. You go beyond advising by also being actively involved in their implementation, often in collaboration with colleagues, both on site and digitally, depending on the client's needs.

What are you going to do?

  • You are responsible for creating and maintaining the architecture plan within the focus area so that it always reflects the current situation, including individual projects, products and any integrations.
  • You are responsible for feasibility, transfer and implementation within the team when involved in the commercial process.
  • You are responsible for understanding customer needs (both technical and business) and translating them into Kega product solutions.
  • You will teach new technology standards and methodologies to developers to improve the efficiency, security and flexibility of our deliveries.
  • Supporting high customer engagement by explaining the Kega architecture approach and its support for their IT ambitions.
  • Presenting both the Kega proposition and architecture vision.
  • Setting up prototypes to test new architecture concepts and then handing them over to the delivery teams for implementation.
  • Preparing customer solutions outside the standard Kega offering for proposals.
  • Making teams aware of long-term security, cost and maintainability of solutions.

In addition to a Higher professional education and/or university education, at least 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

You stand up for your opinions and convince customers and colleagues.

Sparring partner of stakeholders at strategic, tactical and operational levels.

You are able to learn and apply new concepts, technologies and methodologies.

You are communicative and have analytical thinking skills.

You are critical of quality but pragmatic where necessary.

A good salary between €3,950 and €5,200 and 25 holidays (based on 40 hours per week and depending on knowledge and experience), travel allowance or public transport allowance.
